Trading Basics
The practical basics traders should know before buying or selling MemeWarzone campaigns.
Trading on MemeWarzone starts during the bonding-curve phase.
This phase can be fast, volatile, and competitive.
Before you trade
Make sure you understand:
- which chain you are on
- how much BNB you are spending
- the buy/sell fee
- your slippage settings
- whether the campaign has reliable links
- where the campaign is in the lifecycle
- whether you are linked to a recruiter or squad
Fees
Buys and sells have a 2.00% fee.
From every buy and sell, 0.75% of trade notional routes to LeagueTreasury. Other slices route to recruiter rewards, Squad Pool, Warzone Airdrops, and protocol revenue based on attribution profile.
Read: **[Fee Routing](/fees/fee-routing)**.
Reward eligibility
Trading can affect:
- League standings
- Warzone BNB Airdrop eligibility
- Squad Pool score
- profile and ranking history
Reward eligibility is subject to caps and anti-abuse checks. Do not trade solely because you expect a reward.
Slippage
During volatile campaigns, trades can fail if slippage is too low.
Never blindly raise slippage without understanding the risk. High slippage can produce worse fills than expected.
Graduation risk
Campaigns near graduation can move quickly.
Understand what happens at 50 BNB before trading near that threshold.
Read: **[Graduation](/platform/graduation)**.
Chat risk
The War Room can be useful, but it can also be noisy.
Do not treat chat hype as verification. Always check official campaign data and links.
