Epochs & Claims
How weekly reward epochs close, how claims work, and what happens to expired rewards.
MemeWarzone rewards are organized around epochs.
Epochs make the system predictable. Users know when activity counts, when rewards are calculated, and when claims open.
Weekly epoch close
Weekly reward epochs close at:
Monday 00:00 UTC
After the epoch closes, the system can process:
- recruiter rewards
- Warzone BNB Airdrops
- Squad Pool rewards
- League-related reward states
- claimable reward ledger entries
Claim-based rewards
MemeWarzone uses claim-based rewards.
Rewards are not automatically pushed to every wallet. Eligible users claim through official dashboard/profile flows.
This keeps settlement cleaner because it:
- avoids unnecessary payout spam
- keeps reward settlement auditable
- lets users see what they are claiming
- allows eligibility and anti-abuse checks before payout
- reduces operational risk
Claim window
The standard claim deadline is 7 days after epoch end.
Users should claim from their profile or dashboard after an epoch is processed and published.
Expired rewards
Expired rewards remain inside the ecosystem.
| Reward type | Expiry destination |
| --- | --- |
| Recruiter rewards | Squad Pool |
| Squad Pool rewards | Squad Pool |
| Warzone BNB Airdrops | Airdrop treasury |
This prevents idle rewards from sitting permanently stranded.
Eligibility visibility
Users should be able to see:
- whether they are eligible
- pending rewards
- claimable rewards
- expired rewards
- broad reason codes if ineligible
- claim history
Reason codes should help honest users understand the outcome without exposing anti-abuse thresholds.
Why epochs matter
Epochs turn platform activity into recurring moments:
- new winners
- new squad rankings
- new recruiter stats
- new airdrop chances
- new content beats
- new reasons to return
That weekly rhythm is a core part of MemeWarzone.
